I was challenged to create a poster showcasing a typeface of my choice. The typeface I chose was Myriad Pro, and my intention was to display a variation of its fonts, alphanumeric characters, and usage. Of course, all of which needed to look visually pleasing. This way, I could show how versatile the typeface is and increase its marketability.
From the visual example, I explored capitalized and lowercase letters, titles and paragraph text, font weight and italics, and condensed vs extended forms. Furthermore, I played around with sizing and added color to the largest letters to bring the piece together.
