For this project, I created a poster for the Colorado Symphony. The poster was supposed to be mailed, so it would be folded into eighths after printing. In terms of the poster visuals, I wanted to create a classic feel. The main motif is viewing fireflies at night, where the abstracted fireflies resemble glowing notes.
The main challenge of this project was formatting the large amount of text. I was given a word file with 15 concerts on it, and my task was to fit it all within a 10 x 16 inch space. Not only did I need to rearrange the text, but the file itself originally contained typos and spacing errors.
