Using Adobe Illustrator, I created a personal logo for myself. Since my aesthetic is clean, simple, and almost corporate, I decided to pretend I was a company. In terms of the logo itself, I used two triangles to create a backwards "J" shape. Through the use of simple shapes in my logo, my pretend company can appear to be professional, efficient, and to the point. This very much resembles tech company logos.
A logo is effective when it is versatile. In other words, it looks good and makes sense when it is placed on a variety of objects. Therefore, I decided to showcase my logo on a T-shirt, an app loading screen, and a business card, which is appropriate for a corporate context.
