Apple Graphics

Project Context

I was tasked with creating a graphic that conveys the message, "Apples are delicious." The main challenge was that I had to convey the message based on an adjective I was given. My adjective just happened to be the word "cheeky." I also had to use a certain amount of abstraction, which meant that I could not use the standard apple shape. Working with these constraints, I referred to an apple's color and its cross section.

Later, I decided that I wanted to try the exercise again without the abstraction. I made some sketches, and then refined them in Adobe Illustrator.
